COMMUNITY

OFFERINGS

Tulalip Bay Fire Department is committed to being a good neighbor. Throughout the year, we host and participate in a number of community events, including our beloved annual Santa Run. Outside of those events, we have several other programs to engage with the community—from station tours to our ride-along program to hosting birthday parties for local youth—we love getting to know our neighbors better. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the station if you would like firefighters to attend your upcoming event, and we will do our best to accommodate requests and ideas.

  • Station Tours

Firefighters are always excited to have visitors at the station. We will gladly tour you around the station, showing you where we eat, sleep and work, including a tour of the fire engine and ambulance. In addition, a safety talk can be provided during the tour. Station tours are by appointment, and we require having at least two weeks notice of your group visiting. Please note, there is always the possibility that firefighters may receive an emergency call and will have to conclude the station tour early. If this happens, we will be happy to reschedule. To schedule a station visit, email us at events@fire15.org or click the button below.

  • Ride-Along Program

The Ride-Along program allows residents to accompany firefighters during duty. This public education program gives residents a better understanding of fire operations. The program serves as a mechanism for community members to personally observe operations and enhance transparency between fire and members of the community. If you’re interested in a ride-along, please complete the online application and training below. For questions, please email us at events@fire15.org

    Ride-Along Program Policy

-All ride time must be scheduled in advance with the Ride-Along Coordinator at the Tulalip Bay Fire Department's office during regular office hours.

-The shift hours may be restricted due to fire department operational or training needs.

Birthday parties at the fire station are free for residents and include a station tour, interacting with the fire apparatus, safety talk with a firefighter, and use of the community room for cake and presents.

Parents will need to provide their own food, beverages, and party goods, as well as setup and cleanup (we will provide tables and chairs). Please schedule with us at least two weeks in advance. To get on the schedule, please email us at events@fire15.org
