    Tulalip Bay Fire is currently seeking to create an eligibility list for a Entry Level Firefighter/EMT. This position requires a TBFD application which can be requested directly from TBFD or online at HERE.

    The Department will order the eligibility list based on the individual’s application as well as the combined written test score and oral board scores. Selected individuals will then be invited to participate in the additional stages of our hiring process.

    Union Status: This position is represented by IAFF Local 3219

    Salary Information: $6510.59 per month.

    Schedule: 48/96 with 14 Kelly days

    Job Requirements:

    Age: 21

    Citizenship Required: Yes

    High School Grad / GED: Yes

    Driver's License: Yes

    Driving Disqualifiers:
    Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license without any record of suspension or revocation in any state. Candidates must be insurable under Tulalip Bay Fire Department insurance policy.

    Background Investigation and Criminal Record Check:
    Yes

    Felony, Criminal Activity Disqualifiers:
    Must not have had any felony convictions or disqualifying criminal histories.

    Medical Examination:
    Must be able to complete and pass a department medical physical examination.

    Minimum Qualifications to Apply:
    IFSAC Firefighter I Certification, including Hazardous Materials Operations

    Washington State EMT Certification

    Preferred Qualifications:
    IFSAC Firefighter II Certification
    Pump-Ops Certification
    Blue Card Incident Command Training
    IFSAC Fire Officer 1
    IFSAC Instructor 1

    Additional Information:
