Scout Signage Project

Scout Leads New Signage Project for Tulalip Bay Fire

Do a Good Turn Daily! - The Boy Scouts Motto

Tulalip Bay Fire is honored to have been the beneficiary of Brock Stadler’s Eagle Scout Project.

In February, Scout Stadler collaborated with Tulalip Bay Fire Chief Shaughnessy to create new signage for Station 60. Using his Eagle Scout Workbook, Brock meticulously managed every detail, from gathering tools and estimating costs to overseeing production.

During the planning phase, he consulted with retired Tulalip Bay Fire Deputy Chief Jim Reinhardt. Together, with the support of Meyer Signs in Mount Vernon, they discussed the sign’s message to the community and brought the design to life.

Brock then set out to secure funding. He presented his plan to the Tulalip Bay Fire Board of Commissioners, who not only approved the design but also generously agreed to cover the sign's cost. Thanks to donations from Cascade Lumber and contributions from family members, Brock obtained the necessary materials to complete the project. He worked alongside his grandfather in August to prepare the posts, and the sign was installed in September.

Brock will soon present his completed Eagle Scout project workbook to the Eagle Scout Board of Review. In this final interview with Scout leaders, they will determine whether he is ready to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.

If approved, this ambitious and talented 13-year-old, who dreams of becoming a pilot, will be one of the youngest Eagle Scouts.

Thank you, Brock, for your outstanding work and project management skills, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the project. We are grateful to see this sign as we start our shifts and head out to serve the community.
